Youd think a guitar worth 6x$ as much as my old one would make me 6x times better? I wish! Actually set me back a few steps, just some new things to get used to (frets a bit more spaced I think, especially near bottom frets, less string area to play/palm mute then the strat squire, more neck heavy). But I got like an extra 3 or 4 frets woot!
This guitar is beautiful! I really didnt think I wanted something in red, especially some sort of pattern, but when I saw this last week I was amazed.
It is an Epiphone Prophecy SG GX. I couldnt find any YouTube vids, so I may be the first. Too bad my ’super’ playing is probably going to scare some people away from it.
I really cant tell any sound difference between this and my squire. This weekend I will make a comparison video. One thing is for sure, it looks awesome and the action is nice and looooooooooooooooow compared to the squire.
