Can I use a guitar processor for vocal effects?

This would just be for my personal use-not for live singing.

Yes, you could run vocals through a pedal. You simply need to run a microphone with a quarter inch plug into the input of the guitar pedal and then run another cable from the output of the pedal into the P.A. system. But they do make voice processors. I've used one myself for effects during shows.
